Our workflow is streamlined. You know what? It’s also flexible!
You’re welcome to share your preferred workflow with us. We shall adapt to it.

Exterior Rendering Workflow

Our workflow is rigorous yet streamlined. You will receive multiple rounds of draft images in each stage to give feedback. Everything is under your control throughout the process.

Step 1

Quote & Contract

This is where we first get in touch. In brief, you send us the project details, and we quote for the job. If it gets approved, we will sign a contract and then get started right away.

To be more specific, in this stage, we review the input data, study your requirements, ask and answer questions, finally reach an agreement on the price, timeline, and terms of the contract, and move forward to the next stage.

Step 1

Step 2

3D Modeling Stage

Exterior Rendering Workflow - 3D Modeling Stage

In this stage, we create 3D models as per your CAD drawings or tweak your SketchUp/Revit model to make it ready for photo-realistic rendering. We also set the cameras as per your view angle instructions.

PS: After your sign the contract, it usually takes only one or two days for us to send you the first-round modeling draft/s, in which you will be able to review the 3D model & camera angles and provide feedback. It normally takes 1-3 rounds to finalize the 3D model and camera angles before moving forward to the next stage.

PPS: In this stage, we focus on finalizing the 3D model and camera angles only. The lighting and texture will be very basic as you can see in the example image above.

Step 2

Step 3

Rendering & Post-production

Exterior Rendering Workflow - Rendering & Post-production

We combined rendering and post-production into one stage. This means once you confirm the 3D modeling drafts, the next draft images you receive will have FULL details – realistic lighting, texture & materials, people, cars, landscape, etc – you can comment on all of them now. In this stage, you will be able to make sure every detail is correct before signing them off.

PS: It usually takes two days for us to send the first-round rendering & post-production drafts after the 3D model and camera angles are confirmed. We often spend 2-3 rounds of feedback before the images are ready for final high-resolution output. Once everything is good, you will be asked to sign off the draft images.

Step 3

Step 4

Final High-res Images

Exterior Rendering Workflow_Final High-res Image

Once the draft images are signed off, we will output the final high-resolution images and send them to you.

We normally require 24 hours before the deadline to prepare the final images, since it takes time for the computer to render then out with extreme quality settings.

PS: Full payment must be made before we can release the final images without our watermark.

Step 4

COLLABORATION

Send an exterior project brief now.

We have designed a form to make it easy for both of us to organize the project information.
Fill the brief and get started right now.

Interior Rendering Workflow

Our workflow is rigorous yet streamlined. You will receive multiple rounds of draft images in each stage to give feedback. Everything is under your control throughout the process.

3D Modeling & Texturing

Interior Rendering Workflow - 3D Modeling & Texturing

In this stage, we create 3D models as per your CAD drawings or tweak your SketchUp/Revit model to make it ready for photo-realistic rendering. We also apply basic textures as you can see in the example image above. Then, we set the cameras as per your view angle instructions.

We usually conduct 2-3 rounds of drafts & feedback before everything at this stage is confirmed. Then we move forward to the next stage.

Step 2

Step 3

Lighting & Rendering

Interior Rendering Workflow - Lighting and Post-production

Lighting is extremely important in interior renderings. At this stage, thoughtful lighting is added. The renderings now start looking great. In addition to reviewing the lighting design, you can fine-tune the materials and colors because they look photo-real now.

PS: It usually takes 1-2 days for us to send the first-round lighting drafts after the 3D model and camera angles are confirmed. At this stage, we usually conduct 2-3 rounds of drafts & feedback before everything gets perfect and ready to be rendered in full resolution.

Final High-res Images

Step 2

3D Modeling & Camera Path

This is where we start adding full details to the scenes. Textures & materials, lighting, landscape, furnishings, people, cars, etc., you can review and comment on all details in the keyframes we send to you.

We normally conduct 2-3 rounds of drafts & feedback before the keyframes are ready to be signed off and we move forward to the next stage.

PS: The nature of a 3D animation is a sequence of still images. Keyframes are the frames we select from each shot that are fully rendered and with full details. By reviewing them, you will make sure everything looks great and correct in the final high-res video.

Step 3

Step 4

Animation Draft & Post-production.

At this stage, you can confirm everything is accurate while seeing the project in motion. Since most of the changes have been made in the last stage, there should only be a few minor changes required here.

It is also where we work on the post-production, adding texts, voice-over, and anything else to be done in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

Step 4

Step 5

Final High-Resolution Animation Delivery

Once you confirm everything is perfect, you can sign off the draft and arrange the balance payment to get the final high-resolution animation without our watermark.
