To make the clients feel safe working with us, consistent quality and always on-time delivery are equally important. In the article 3D Rendering Quality Assurance: Delivering Consistency, we shared the procedures that are designed to guarantee quality. In this article, we shall discuss how we guarantee 100% on-time delivery.
Same as quality assurance, we designed procedures to keep things under control in every stage of the project.
Early Communication
Deadline is one of the essential pieces of information that our project manager will ask you during early communication. After getting the complete project data, our team shall assess the task again and confirm whether we can be 100% sure to meet the deadline. Only when it’s yes will we take the project. Otherwise, we will be honest with the client and ask him if it’s possible to have more time, and if not, offer him alternative solutions such as simplifying some part of the job, reducing the number of views or the length of the animation.
Project Execution
A timeline of a project is affected by two main factors. One is our work efficiency, and the other is the interval between when we send the updates and when we receive feedback.
So, for projects with a tight deadline, we shall take the following measures when necessary:
- Give it a top priority in our internal project management, assign more stuff, and schedule overtime.
- Make a Gantt chart explaining the schedule and timings when the client needs to stay closely connected with us.
- Besides email and IMs, we require the client to provide an emergency phone number for urgent matters.
- The project manager shall stay reachable 24/7.
Time difference shall be considered when making the schedule, aiming to make full use of the overlapping hours and non-overlapping hours accordingly. By the way, did you know that the time difference can be a good thing for both of us? Please refer to this article for more information: Why Is Time Zone Difference A Good Thing? – GoGetCG
After Completion
We can finally take a break after the final delivery. However, your case doesn’t end here. As introduced in the article 3D Rendering Quality Assurance: Delivering Consistency, after completion, our project manager will go over the project again to find the positive and negative actions on both sides and think about how we can improve next time. Then, he/she will write a summary which will be shared with the client.
Meanwhile, you will be requested to fill a survey where you can rate our service or file a complainant. The survey helps us spot the problems we didn’t see and allow us to serve you better in the future. Through summarizing and surveying, our quality of service improves from every project we delivered.
Wrapping Up
It requires mutual efforts to catch an extremely tight deadline. We take measures both to boost our efficiency and reduce the interval between our updates and the client’s comments. This is how we manage to deliver fantastic results always on time. If you have a project with a tight deadline to catch, feel safe to hire us!
